The Umass Lowell FSAE Team is a non-profit organization that relies on the support from its sponsors to make the dream of building a race car into a reality. All donations to the team are tax-deductible and are used for educational purposes within the Umass Lowell FSAE team. Students put in countless hours of work into designing and building but without continued support from out sponsors, the project would fail to reach completion.
Building tomorrow's workforce today
Being on the Formula SAE team provides members with an experience of more than just designing and building a car. Members gain experience in leadership, team work and professionalism. While on the team, members are encouraged to think outside the box and design efficiently. These skills are not developed in the regular classroom environment and that's what makes Formula SAE team members future leaders.
Exposure for your company
Umass Lowell FSAE is proud of their sponsors and provides exposure at presentations, university events, and corporate sponsored competitions with SAE providing industry and media coverage. The competition itself was recently featured in CNN, ESPN2, The Detroit Free Press, Car and Driver Magazine, Road and Track, and Motortrend Magazines.
