Spring 2012 Day Shuttle Service


The Office of Transportation Services designs its routes to efficiently transport students, staff, faculty and university community members between campus locations. Being in an urban environment provides challenges that we constantly strive to overcome.  

North Campus Bus Stop Relocation:
The bus stop on North Campus for Blue Line, Yellow North, and 1001 North, will stop on the Alumni Hall side of University Ave. after 2 p.m., each day. 

All other lines will utilize the Alumni Hall side of University Ave. from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday - Friday.

7 a.m. - 6 p.m.

**Note: In the event the University is closed, no transportation services will be provided.**

Where do the lines go?

  • 1001 Pawtucket Blvd. North: 1001 Pawtucket Blvd. to North Campus (7 a.m. - 6:30 p.m) 
  • 1001 Pawtucket Blvd. South: 1001 Pawtucket Blvd. to South Campus (7 a.m. - 6:30 p.m) 
  • Blue Line: North, School Street, and South
    Departs every 10 minutes
  • Red Line: East, Salem Parking Lot and South
    Departs every 15 minutes from North & South 
  • Green North: East Meadow Lane and North
  • Green South **NEW**: East Meadow Lane  and South
  • Yellow North: Inn & Conference Center, Aiken Street, and North. Departs every 10 minutes from Inn & Conference Center and North
    • Departs Inn & Conference Center on the 10's
    • Departs North on the 5's
  • Yellow South: Inn & Conference Center and South -
    Departs every 15 minutes
  • Orange North: North, East, Salem Street, Moody Street, Merrimack Street and Wannalancit Mills, 
  • Orange South: South, Salem Street, Moody Street, and Merrimack Street  (Will stop at Wannalancit Mills by request, please call 978-934-2222)

    **Note:
    Due to bridge weight restrictions, some shuttles are not allowed to go over the University Ave. bridge, the Pawtucket St. canal bridge or the Broadway St. canal bridge.**

Roadster Stops:

    • Aiken Street: Front of IPI building, corner Aiken and Pawtucket streets
    • Inn & Conference Center: front of building
    • North: University Avenue bus shelter
    • Salem Street: Lot B
    • South: Wilder Street bus shelter, Broadway/Riverview parking lot
    • Wannalancit: 600 Suffolk St.
    • East Campus: bus shelter
    • Merrimack Street Apartments: behind apartment complex on the corner of Moody Street and Austin Street
    • Moody Street Apartments:  outside apartment complex

**Note: The River Hawk Roadster is not allowed to enter the Gallagher train terminal while the Lowell Regional Transit Authority (LRTA) is operating, please refer to the LRTA's website for the latest schedule information and  hours of operation.**
