There are many campus services available to UMass Lowell students. Some are administered by the division, while others reside elsewhere on campus.
- Campus Ministry
- Emergency Medical Services (EMS)
- Transportation Services
- Information Disclosures
- Student Mail
- Student Notified Absences
Students living in the residence halls are assigned a mail box in one of two locations, depending on their campus address. Students living on UMass Lowell's North or East Campus will be assigned a mailbox in the Fox Hall mail room. Students living on UMass Lowell's South Campus will be assigned a mailbox in Sheehy/Concordia mail room.
Each mailroom delivers mail and packages and sells stamps and envelopes to students.
Students who may be out of class for three or more days are encouraged to contact the Dean of Students' Office for a Notified Absence form. This is a notification that the student may share with the faculty member or may be sent on the student's behalf, depending on the circumstances.
Documentation for absences should be provided as often as possible. Please note: This is not an excused absence. It is the student's responsibility to contact the faculty during the absence or when they return to campus and it is the prerogative of the faculty to determine what academic action is necessary/warranted i.e. make-up tests, finals, etc.
