About the Counseling Center
Office Location/Hours/Phone
Staff Members
The University provides confidential mental health and counseling services free to all fulltime degree seeking students through the Counseling Center. Our staff is committed to assisting students with the wide variety of personal difficulties and concerns that can interfere with academic success and progress. When necessary, referrals for outside, specialized mental health services are also provided.
There are some constraints on the number of visits available. There is a 12 session limit per academic year but most students are able to address their concerns adequately without extending these. In fact, the majority of students who use our services find that they are able to clarify their feelings, concerns and options in only a few meetings with a counselor.
Location: McGauvran Student Center, UML South, Room 363
Hours: Weekdays, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
