The Office of Career Services is always in search of internships that seem a little out of the ordinary. The following opportunity recently caught our eye:
 
HUMAN RESOURCES INTERN

Be an active contributor in Spaulding Rehab's Human Resources department! Spaulding Rehab is seeking a college student for an intern to be at the front line, greeting employees and visitors, answering questions at our busy front desk and assisting with various projects. Other duties include updating the website, working with the  Peoplesoft system, employment references, exposure to new hire orientation, etc. The Human Resources Department at Spaulding Rehabilitation Network consists of four staff members and provides service to approximately 1000 employees.  The organization is looking for a commitment of at least 10 hours per week and can be flexible to your schedule! Familiarity with MS Office and some Web experience preferred.  The site is easily accessible by public transportation (near North Station).

The intern will receive a $1,000 stipend, a monthly "T" pass and free lunches.
