Spring Opportunities at the U.S. Treasury

The Washington Center for Internships & Academic Seminars (TWC), with which UMass Lowell has a long-standing partnership, has secured stipended Spring 2010 placements at the U.S. Department of Treasury in Washington D.C.  Students must be in their second semester of the sophomore year to be eligible to go (you can apply earlier), and have a 3.0 GPA. 

For these federal internships, applicants must be US citizens and must be enrolled in an undergraduate program in mathematics, accounting, finance, or economics (or a grad student in Business Management).  Undergrad students must receive credit for participating in the program -- more information about the credit arrangements at UMass Lowell is available here.

This program begins January 21, 2010 and goes for 15 weeks.  All application materials are due by Nov. 13, 2009, but gathering all the necessary items may take time, so if you are interested, please start now
