In addition to participating in our on-campus recruiting program and related information sessions, there are several ways employers can gain visibility among students on UMass Lowell’s campuses.
Career Services often seeks employer sponsorships for our campus career events such as the annual Dine and Dress for Success event and career fairs. Employer event sponsors receive enhanced student visibility through additional marketing exposure, special event signage and/or preferred booth placement.
We also often recruit employer representatives to take part in scheduled Practice Interview days during which students schedule a one-hour slot for a mock interview with an employer in which to practice their interviewing skills and receive constructive feedback. If you would like to volunteer a half-day to conduct practice interviews with UMass Lowell students, please contact us at 978-934-2355.
Employer representatives often are sought to make career and industry-focused class or group presentations on campus. Please let us know if you’d be interested in being part of our pool of potential speakers.
The University Career Advisory Network (UCAN) is another great way to assist the UMass Lowell student and alumni community. UCAN volunteers make themselves available to students and alums who have questions about career fields and/or specific industry areas. UCAN is a wonderful way to provide advice and information to persons in the formative years of their careers.
