RECRUITING SERVICES
On-campus Recruiting
Employers can post job/internship/co-op opportunities and receive student resumes electronically at UMass Lowell through our on-campus recruiting program, called eRecruiting. We schedule on-campus interviews at your convenience mid-September through early December, and mid-February through May. Call 978-934-2355 or email us to arrange interview times and space. If you are unable to visit campus to interview candidates, eRecruiting allows for online resume drops for UMass Lowell students who wish to apply for your openings.
If you are already part of the eRecruiting network, simply log in to eRecruiting as usual and and request access to UMass Lowell's system online.
If you are not already part of the eRecruiting network and would like to post opportunities and schedule interviews with UMass Lowell students, please call our office at 978-934-2355 to open your UMass Lowell eRecruiting account. Or, open a UMass Lowell eRecruiting account online by following instructions on our eRecruiting How-To Guide for Employers.

What Can I Do With this Major?
Major-focused panel discussions provide an opportunity for students to learn about the real world from a panel of experts -- professionals who are willing to share their career decisions, transitions and experiences. Date and majors based on arrangements with faculty members.
Dine & Dress for Success (February)
A perennial student favorite, Dine & Dress is a fun and informative evening of coaching by an internationally recognized etiquette consultant during a four-course meal.
Professional Practice Interviews
Employers are invited to step into the role of career counselor for a morning, afternoon or both. Students "apply" for a practice interview, are video-recorded in this 20-30 minute practice, and are provided immediate feedback on their interview. This is a popular program among students and we are always trying to expand the number and type of professionals who generously volunteer to assist in the professional development of our students.
Alumni Panel Guest Speakers
Students learn about specific jobs, career tracks for different majors, and industries from professionals in a variety of fields. Again, we appreciate your participation in helping provide professional development for our students.
Career Services Awareness Events (September)
A day of orientation and introduction to our office, services and resources, including refreshments and raffle prizes donated by local employers.
What's Next? Recent Graduate Workshops (May)
A day of workshops designed to help recent grads who are struggling with their transition into the world of work. Topics include Job Search Strategies & Resources, Resumes, Employment Correspondence, Interviewing, and Networking.
Alumni Mentoring
The University's Alumni Mentors comprise alumni/ae and friends of the University who are willing to assist students and alumni/ae with career information and networking. If you'd like to volunteer, please contact us.
ALUMNI EVENTS
Networking and professional development events for alumni and current and future Alumni Mentor volunteers are scheduled each fall and spring semesters. These professional development opportunities are meant to thank current volunteers and to encourage participation by others who may be interested in volunteering.
If you have any questions about any of these events or would like more information, please contact the Career Services Team at 978-934-2355 or via email. We look forward to working with you.
