University Career Advisory Network (UCAN)

How UCAN Works
Alumni and friends of the University who are interested in serving as a resource to students and other alumni provide us with basic information about their careers. We keep this information in a database managed by the Career Services & Cooperative Education Center and our online partner, Experience Inc. Your information is accessible only to students and alumni who have registered through our office or our website.

As a UCAN mentor, as long as your status is Active and you have not reached your maximum number of mentees, you will appear in search results based on relevance.  As you receive requests from mentees, you simply "Accept" to become connected or "Decline."

What You Can Expect as a UCAN Mentor
Students and alumni use the database to research possible career paths. They select mentors employed in fields of interest to them and then contact those individuals.  If you don't receive a mentor request from a student, don't be disappointed; your listing is still important to us.

Students are instructed to contact you for information only, not for a job.
