Evening Shuttle Service vans run between 6 p.m. and 1 a.m., seven days a week while the University is open. This includes the evening before classes start after breaks.
Within the parameters of the current system, there are two bus routes which are run by two vans:
- Route 1: Fox Hall, UML North Bus Stop, UML South Bus Stop, Riverview Parking Lot, Sheehy/Concordia Halls, Brewery Lot, Fox Hall
- Route 2: Fox Hall, UML South Bus Stop, Riverview Parking Lot, Sheehy/Concordia Halls, UML North Bus Stop, Brewery Lot, Fox Hall
Click to see a bus route map. If a third van is also running, it will follow one of these routes starting at a different point or time so as not to meet up with the first van driving the same route.
Parking Lot Pick-Ups
If you would like a ride from one of the campus parking lots we go by, just flash your lights or wave to get the attention of the driver. Alternatively, if a driver stops to offer you a ride but you wish to decline, please indicate by a wave or by speech that you do not need a ride, so as to allow the driver and passengers to continue on their route.
Train Station Pick-Ups
Due to the contents of the LRTA's contract with the school, we can only provide service to Gallagher after 10:30 p.m. on weeknights. On Saturday and Sunday, however, we begin service to Gallagher at 6 p.m.
During these hours, we have one van at Gallagher every time that a train is scheduled to arrive from Boston.
- 11:24 p.m., 12:43 a.m. Mon-Fri
- 6:43 p.m., 8:43 p.m., 12:13 a.m. Sat-Sun
Rides to Gallagher are by request.
****If you are having difficulty finding a ride (because the LRTA is not coming when it should be), please do not hesitate to flag down a van and talk to the driver. We don't want you to miss your train and we will do what we can to help you.****
