Transportation Services

The Office of Transportation Services designs its routes to efficiently transport students, staff, faculty and university community members between campus locations. Being in an urban environment provides challenges that we constantly strive to overcome. 

Hours of Operation

Monday - Friday
7 a.m. - 6 p.m.

Note: On holidays and when classes are not scheduled, only weekend service is provided 

Whats Running and Roadster Routes:

• Blue Line: South, School St. Apts., North
• Red Line: East, South
• Green N Line: East Meadow Lane Apts., Princeton Reserves, North 
• Green S Line: East Meadow Lane Apts., Princeton Reserves, South
• Yellow N Line: ICC, East Campus (Aiken St.), North
• Yellow S Line: ICC, South
• Orange N Line: North, Wannalancit Mills, Moody St. Apts., Merrimack St. Apts.
• Orange S Line: South, Moody St. Apts., Merrimack St. Apts. (Wannalancit Mills by request)
• 1001 N Line: 1001 Pawtucket Blvd. Lot, North (ends at 6:30 p.m.) *
  
• 1001 S Line: 1001 Pawtucket Blvd. Lot, Hadley Park, South (ends at 6:30 p.m.) *
  Note: 1001 lines currently do not have GPS capability, and will not appear on RoadsterRoutes
  

North Campus Bus Stop Services 

• Blue Line: Use to get to South Campus or School St. Departs approximately every 10 minutes on the 10's.
• Yellow N Line: Use to get to the ICC or East Campus. Departs approximately every 10 minutes on the 5's.
• 1001 N Line: Use to get to the 1001 Pawtucket Blvd. Lot. Departs approximately every 15 minutes. 
• Orange N Line: Use to get to Wannalancit Mills, Moody St. Apt., Merrimack St Apts. Serviced by one van, and takes approximately 18 minutes to complete the loop. Note: Bus stop location now in Southwick Quad for Orange N and Green N lines 
• Green N Line: Use to get to East Meadow Lane Apts. and Princeton Reserves. Serviced by one van, and takes approximately 15 minutes to complete the loop.  Note: Bus stop location now in Southwick Quad for Orange N and Green N lines. 

• Green N Line and Orange N Line pick up and drop off will take place in the Southwick Quad. 
• The bus stop on North Campus for Blue Line, Yellow North Line, and 1001 North Line, will stop on the Alumni Hall side of University Ave. after 2 p.m., each day, and will be on the Cumnock Hall side prior to 2 p.m.  

South Campus Bus Stop Services 

• Blue Line: Use to get to North Campus or School St. Departs approximately every 10 minutes on the 5's. 
• Red Line: Use to get to East Campus.  Departs approximately every 10 minutes on the 10's. 
• Yellow S Line: Use to get to the ICC. Departs approximately every 10 minutes on the 5's. 
• 1001 S Line: Use to get to the 1001 Pawtucket Blvd. Lot and Hadley Park Apts. Departs approximately every 15 minutes
• Orange S. Line: Use to get to Moody St. Apts., and Merrimack St Apts. (Wannalancit Mills by request). Serviced by one van, and takes approximately 18 minutes to complete the loop. 
• Green S Line: Use to get to East Meadow Lane Apts. and Princeton Reserves.  Departs approximately every 15 minutes.

Note: Due to bridge weight restrictions, some shuttles are not allowed to go over the University Ave. bridge, the Pawtucket St. canal bridge or the Broadway St. canal bridge.

East Campus Bus Stop Services

• Red Line: Use to get to South Campus.  Departs approximately every 10 minutes on the 5's.
• Yellow N Line: Use to get to North or ICC. Departs from Aiken St., approximately every 10 minutes. 
• Orange N. Line: Use to get to Wannalancit Mills, Moody St. Apts., Merrimack St. Apts. Serviced by one van, and takes approximately 18 minutes to complete the loop.

• Merrimack Street Apartments: Behind apartment complex on the corner of Moody and Austin Street
• Moody Street Apartments: Outside apartment complex

Note: The River Hawk Roadster is not allowed to enter the Gallagher train terminal while the Lowell Regional Transit Authority (LRTA) is operating. Please refer to the LRTA's website for the latest schedule information and hours of operation.
