Student Mail
Students living in the residence halls are assigned a mail box in one of two locations, depending on their campus address. Students living on UML North or East will be assigned a mailbox in the Fox Hall mail room. Students living on UML South will be assigned a mailbox in Sheehy/Concordia mail room.
Each mail room delivers mail and packages, and sells stamps and envelopes to students.
Student Notified Absence
Students who may be out of class for three or more days are encouraged to contact the Dean of Students' Office for a Notified Absence form. This is a notification that the student may share with the faculty member or may be sent on the student's behalf, depending on the circumstances.
Documentation for absences should be provided as often as possible. Please note: This is not an excused absence. It is the student's responsibility to contact the faculty during the absence or when they return to campus and it is the prerogative of the faculty to determine what academic action is necessary/warranted i.e. make-up tests, finals etc.
Undergraduate Loan Fund
This is an emergency fund maintained for use by undergraduate students only. An undergraduate student may borrow up to $50 for a period of 30 days, interest free. At the end of 30 days, students must repay the loan or a flag will be set against their student account, barring them from registering for classes, completing drop/add of classes or receiving transcripts.
If you need an emergency loan, please come to the Dean of Students' Office and apply.
