You are cordially invited to the 2010 NSYCC Career Day to be held on the President's Day holiday: Monday, February 15, 2010, at the Maureen Murphy Wilkens Science Center at Emmanuel College in Boston, MA, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. This dynamic all-day event will consist of a career symposium in the morning followed by a fair and workshops in the afternoon. For the symposium portion, some very exciting speakers will offer career advice in both traditional and nontraditional chemistry careers. They include:
-Michael Singer, Sigma-Aldrich
-Andrea L.C. Robidoux, IP Lawyer, Choate, Hall & Stewart LLP
-Michael Pollastri, Ph.D., Assistant Professor of Chemistry, Northeastern University
-Makunk Chorghade, ACS Career Services
-Dr. Mahnaz El-Kouedi, Faculty Appointments, Harvard Medical School
-Lisa Marcaurelle, Ph.D., Lab Manager, The Broad Institute

-Individual appointments with an ACS Career Service representatives to discuss your CV/resume and interview skills
-Admission to the Career Fair
-Information about emerging trends in today's chemical industry
-Key information for obtaining a job in both traditional and non-traditional settings
-Breakfast, catered lunch, and refreshments
-A chance to win an iPod and other great prizes
