Energy-Related Student Research Grants/Internships

Earn money, credit, and experience through the American Public Power Association's Demonstration of Energy-Efficient Developments (DEEP) program.

$4000 Student Research Grants/Internships are available to students to conduct research on energy-related projects or work at municipal electric utilities.  A mid-project report, final report and abstract are required.  Deadline:  Oct. 15, 2010, and Feb. 15, 2011.

$5000 Technical Design Project grant is available to a student or group of students working on an energy-related project. This research grant is geared toward engineering students working on their senior project. A mid-project report, final report and abstract are required. Additional travel expenses are included for the student(s) to present their work at APPA's Engineering and Operations Technical Conference.  Deadline:  Oct. 15 annually.
