Boston Diversity Leaders Forum, Oct. 21

On Tuesday October 21, 2008,  the Boston Diversity Leaders Forum, presented by The Walt Disney Company, will bring together many of country’s top employers and some of New England’s top college students and graduates. 

Fidelity Investments, Eaton Corporation & Campbell Soup will be underwriting the Forum. Representatives from Eaton Corporation, Abbott Labs, Oracle, Cisco, Honeywell Aerospace, Wal-Mart, Bayer HealthCare-Consumer Care, Whirlpool International, Cisco Systems, Oracle, and Alstom Power will be attending to "wine and dine" top Boston-area undergraduate and graduate students.  Although seating is limited to 125 people from the entire Boston market, 20 seats are being reserved for UMass Lowell students.

Prospective attendees, mostly members of minority classes historically underrepresented in the professional workplace, MUST REGISTER to attend via the website www.diversitypower.com and provide information about themselves. There is no cost to register or attend.  Up to 20 registrants will be invited to attend, and will be hosted at dinner by the employer with whom they have the best fit.  The event also includes an inspirational speaker followed by a career outreach panel discussion.

Dress is suit and tie. 

Net proceeds of the event are given back to the community, through scholarships and monetary awards to outstanding minority professional organizations.
