Employer Parking Information for the Engineering & Technology Career Fair, October 16 : : UMass Lowell

We’re looking forward to seeing you on October 16 for the Engineering & Technology Career Fair at UMass Lowell! We have updated the arrival process to make your experience as easy and pleasant as possible.

Most of you will be driving your vehicle directly to the Campus Recreation Center (Recreation Center Driving Directions here).

Student helpers will be available between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. to help you unload your materials and take them to your table. After unloading your vehicle, please follow the parking instructions below to proceed to the George A. Ayotte Garage.

Some of you will be driving your vehicle directly to the George A. Ayotte Garage. Those of you who shipped your materials ahead of time or who have only a very small, lightweight quantity of materials (such as you would carry onto an airplane) or those fortunate few who are carrying no materials can take advantage of this express route.

Transportation to and from the Campus Recreation Center and the George A. Ayotte Garage at the Tsongas Arena will be provided by shuttle vans for both arrival and departure. Two multi-passenger vans will continuously loop between the Ayotte Garage and the Campus Recreation Center. Free parking is provided for employers on the day of the career fair. Parking is complimentary only if you have your ticket validated at the employer sign-in table at the Campus Recreation Center.

Driving Directions

From the Recreation Center to the George A. Ayotte Garage at the Tsongas Arena

From the circular drive in front of the Recreation Center, as you are facing the multi-story Fox Hall, exit to the left through the parking gate. Proceed through the parking lot and exit by taking a left, then take an immediate right onto Hall St. Proceed down Hall St. through two intersections; you will cross over a small brick bridge. You will see the Tsongas Arena ahead and to your left and the Ayotte Parking garage to your right (across from the Arena). Park in the Ayotte Garage.

From the south to the George A. Ayotte Garage at the Tsongas Arena

Take I-495 N to exit 35A-B-C for the Lowell Connector/US-3 N toward Nashua NH. Take Exit 35C for the Lowell Connector. Merge onto Lowell Connector N. Take Exit 5B to merge onto RT-3A N/Thorndike St. Continue to follow Thorndike St. Continue on Dutton St. Turn left at Moody St. Take a slight right at Arcand Dr. Turn right at Father Morissette Blvd.

From the north to the George A. Ayotte Garage at the Tsongas Arena

Traveling on US-3 S take Exit 33 for RT-40E toward N Chelmsford. Merge onto Groton Rd/RT 40. Take a slight right at RT-3A/Vinal Square. Take a slight left at Middlesex St. Continue on Pawtucket St. Continue on Father Morissette Blvd.
