Department of Mathematical Sciences

The Department of Mathematical Sciences at UMass Lowell boasts 24 full-time faculty. A bachelor's degree program is offered through both the day and evening programs. Master's degree programs in Applied & Computational Mathematics, Probability & Statistics, Mathematics for Teachers, and Industrial Mathematics (PSM) are offered through the department. A Doctor of Science in Computational Mathematics is offered in conjunction with the Computer Science Department.
