Join us to introduce industry and university perspectives. UMass Lowell is a founding partner in the newly awarded FHE-MII with FlexTech Alliance. Come learn what UMass Lowell research can do to help your company. The event will provide an overview of UMass Lowell capabilities and identify challenges of the local Flexible Hybrid Electronics (FHE) community. We have a great program of speakers, emphasized by fun networking and constructive breakout sessions.

FHE –MII is the Manufacturing Innovation Institute for Flexible Hybrid Electronics (FHE-MII) founded by FlexTech Alliance and launched last August 28, 2015. Joey Mead and Julie Chen, PIs for the UMass Lowell FHE-MII initiative.The Department of Defense awarded $75 million in federal funding over a five-year period and is being matched by more than $96 million in cost-sharing by non-federal sources. The FHE-MII comprises 96 companies, 11 laboratories and non-profits, 42 universities, and 14 state and regional organizations.
