Center for Family, Work, and Community - (
This non-profit organization works to provide organizational development consultation and training to various members of the community. They are especially helpful in enhancing community and organizational capacity through creating partnerships between the community and UMass Lowell. Their website includes a summary of current projects, a resource list on GIS mapping, and a compilation of grant-writing tipsheets. 

Center for Industrial Competitiveness - (
The Center for Industrial Competitiveness (CIC) combines active involvement in industrial restructuring with  in-depth research on the history, theory, and practice of industrial development. The CIC focuses its attention on the evolution of the organizational structures and technological capabilities of  selected industrial sectors of the American economy, and Massachusetts in particular, relative to their global rivals.
