Bio Sketch
Robert Muganga received his first bachelor’s degree in geology and chemistry from Makerere University of Kampala, Uganda, and worked for a couple of multinational engineering firms engaged in infrastructure and water development projects in Uganda before immigrating to the US in the spring of 2002. Upon his arrival, he decided to fully embrace the engineering profession by pursuing a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering at UMass Lowell, which he obtained in the summer of 2006. He is currently pursuing his master's degree under the guidance of Professor Samuel Paikowsky. His research project is “Uncertainty Evaluation of Displacement and Capacity of Shallow Foundations on Rocks."
