Master Schedule Information

At the top of each page are column headings listed and described as follows:

Course Title Abbreviated title of course being offered.
Course Number A two-digit department code followed by a three-digit course number.
Section Number Indicates the section number of the course being offered. There are five types of section number designations:

  001-009 CSCE (Continuing Studies and Corporate Education) courses: in person.

011-019 CSCE courses: in person, Summer I.

021-029 CSCE courses: in person, Summer II.

031-039 CSCE courses: online.

041-049 CSCE courses: off-campus.

051-059 CSCE courses: in person, accelerated.

061-069 CSCE courses: online, accelerated.

101-199 Lecture: a class in which an instructor presents the main body of course material, such as 25.107.

201-299 Recitation: small discussion classes designed to clarify main ideas from lectures, such as 42.101.

301-399 Honors courses: only for those students accepted in the honors program (see page 37).

601-609 LHS (Lowell high school): distance classes.

630-639 LHS (Lowell high school): classes that are not distance.

650-659 "Teams" sections.

701-899 Laboratory/Studio: applies lecture material in small group situations, such as experiments, assignments, and projects.

901-999 Clinical supervision: provided in collaboration with outside clinical agencies and/or schools.
