Search ProcessThe process to date: September 20, 2007 - Chancellor Marty Meehan initiates a nationwide search for a new provost. The chancellor appointed a search committee of prominent community leaders and faculty members across campus disciplines, led by Co-Chairs George D. Behrakis, chairman of Gainesborough Investments, and Engineering Prof. Julie Chen, director of the Nanomanufacturing Center of Excellence. October-November Input sessions have been held throughout the campus with committee members, search firm representatives, administration, deans, faculty, staff and students.
