Mission Statement

The mission of the UML Police Department is to protect the lives, property and constitutional rights of the University students, faculty and staff. Although the UML Police Department functions as a public safety agency in design and execution, its primary purpose is to provide safety and security to its constituents.

The men and women that make up the UML Police Department strive to maintain excellence in delivering integrity, professionalism and competency as they perform their public safety and safety service duties, consistently respecting the rights and dignity of all they make contact with.
