Blue Light Emergency Phones

For your safety, the University campus has over 20 Blue Light Emergency Phones located throughout campus parking lots and buildings. NOTE: Additional phones are being added every year. These emergency phones are illuminated with a blue light on the top and can be used for emergency or non-emergency purposes.

Please familiarize yourself with the locations of the Blue Light Emergency Telephones, located in the areas listed below. You may also refer to the campus map on this site for approximate locations of call boxes.

• Riverside Commuter lot - corner of Riverside and Sparks Street
• Riverside Commuter lot – outside the main entrance gate to the football field
• Riverside Commuter lot – near Olney Hall at the corner of Riverside St., by the faculty parking lot
• University Ave. – next to the bus stop in front of Eames Hall
• University Ave. – in front of Southwick Hall
• Plymouth St. - staff lot
• Standish St. – behind Lydon Library

• IPI Parking lot – corner of Hall St. and Aiken St., across from the rear of the Rec Center
• Brewery Parking lot – corner of Cabot St. and Perkins St.
• Rec Center – at the corner of Pawtucket St. and Aiken St., across from the main entrance to LeLachur Park (baseball field)
• Rec Center – on walkway near the front entrance to the Rec Center, facing Bourgeois Hall
• Donahue Quad – walkway between Leitch Hall and Bourgeois Hall, across from Fox Hall
