On Thursday, April 4, photographer Dornith Doherty will speak about her collaborative, research-based practice that confronts the impacts of climate change on biodiversity. She will focus on her ongoing series Archiving Eden which documents the Svalbard Global Seed Vault in the Arctic Circle. 

The event will take place in O'Leary 222 at 4 p.m. Doherty is the author of the book Archiving Eden and a 2012 Guggenheim Foundation fellow. 

She is a Distinguished Research Professor at the University of North Texas. Sponsored by the Rist Institute for Sustainability and Energy and the Digital Media Program.
