Scholarly Interests

Informatics based structure and classification studies of DNA and protein sequences from different organisms in the public databases using various computational approaches; Data mining of large biological, biomedical and molecular datasets; biosensor development; simulation and experimental verification of novel chiral metamaterials’ properties in the visible to THz. Biosensor development has focused on use of the Quartz Crystal Microbalance (QCM platform.) Characterization of polymer based bio materials and drug effect using biosensors have carried out using the QCM ad the signal transduction platform.
