Assistant Professor, Plastics Engineering

Expertise: Materials chemistry and analysis, with a focus on the preparation of polymeric as well as inorganic and hybrid materials. Specific areas include the preparation and analysis of polymer nanocomposites, the production of porous materials, sol-gel chemistry, network formation, structural replication techniques, and pre-ceramic polymers, as well as materials analysis via x-ray diffraction, electron and scanning probe microscopy, elemental analysis, and porosimetric techniques.
