Please join me in congratulating Mike Lucas during a retirement celebration on May 1 in honor of his three decades of service to the university.
Mike started his career at UMass Lowell in 1990 working at the College of Education on UML’s West Campus. He then spent some time in the Provost’s Office standardizing classroom equipment across campus. Eventually, he moved to the Information Technology department continuing to support Instructional Technology implementation across campus.
Mike has been a trusted partner of faculty for three decades. In his current role as Senior Director of Instructional Technology Support, Mike is a member of the Information Technology Leadership team and manages the administration of classroom and conference room presentation technology for UMass Lowell. Additionally, Mike provides oversight of the Blackboard LMS team responsible for the on-campus support of course delivery.
