UMass Lowell Police have identified several suspects they believe are responsible for the theft of a vehicle on March 10 from South Campus.

Police Chief Ron Dickerson said that three juveniles believed to be involved will soon be summonsed to appear in Lowell Juvenile Court for the alleged theft of the vehicle.

“Statistics clearly show that UMass Lowell’s campus is one of the safest places in Lowell, but crime does still occur,” Dickerson said. “I’m grateful to UML officers who quickly identified the suspects in this case and to Lowell Police for their assistance.”

Dickerson said UMLPD officers work hard to be engaged and visible on campus, reminding the campus community that UMLPD can be reached at all times at 978-934-4911 (emergency line) or 978-934-2394 (non-emergency line).
