Biosketch

Amir's research interest is exploring explainable machine learning algorithms for business problems. Generating counterfactual instances is one of the explanation extraction methods that Amir is currently researching. Before joining the Ph.D. program at Manning School of Business, Amir earned a Master of Science in Socio-economic Systems Engineering and a bachelor's degree in Industrial engineering at the Sharif University of Technology in Iran. He has nine years of work experience in project management and business analysis in investment companies and worked as a venture partner in an Iranian VC.
