The College of Management’s Assurance of Learning effort focuses on “program–level” rather than “course-level” assessments of student learning. The fundamental expectation at the core of our program is that our graduates will acquire what is thought of as “deep learning.”

Deep learning is acquired knowledge that students are able to apply beyond the final exam. This type of educational experience makes graduates more marketable and valuable to an employer.
