I have forgotten My iSiS password and/or user ID, what should I do?
Your iSiS log in credentials (user ID and password) are the same as the ones used to access Student e-mail. You can retrieve your user ID by going to the iSiS ID Lookup tool. You can change your password using our 24/7 service by visiting https://mypassword.uml.edu. If you are still having problems you can contact the Helpdesk at 978-934-4357 or toll free at 866-HELP-HERE (435-7437).
I forgot my e-mail password. What should I do?
E-mail passwords are changed in person, via telephone, or easily using the password change utility located at https://mypassword.uml.edu. If you have forgotten your password and have created a profile in mypassword.uml.edu you can get a new password by clicking Reset my Password and answering the security questions. If you haven’t created a profile please contact the Helpdesk at 978-934-4357 or toll-free at 866-HELP-HERE (435-7437).
Can I access my e-mail from outside the university?
Yes. E-mail can be accessed from anywhere in the world provided that you have Internet access. You can achieve this by going to the ?Outlook Web Access? logon page and entering your username and password.

What is my initial e-mail password?
For students, faculty and staff your initial password is your iSiS ID number preceded by the letters Ums in this exact format (e.g., Ums12345678). Students should change their password at https://mypassword.uml.edu prior to logging in to their email accounts. Failure to do so may cause synchronization issues and ability to properly use campus services tied to a UMass Lowell email account – wireless, library, echo360 . . .
What is my e-mail mailbox size limit and how can I check this?
Student mailbox quotas are set at 10 GB. Faculty and staff mailbox quotas are set at 5 GB.
My computer will not connect to the Internet on campus. How can I fix this?
First make sure that the Ethernet cable is securely plugged into both the LIVE wall jack and the computer. Once this is done try rebooting the PC/laptop. You can also try to release and renew your IP address. The Help Desk can talk you through this process. Call the Help Desk at 978-934-4357 or toll-free at 866-HELP-HERE (435-7437).
Do I need to configure anything on my notebook to use the UMass Lowell wireless network?
Yes, instructions are provided in the wireless homepage.
My laptop does not connect to the wireless network anymore, how can I fix this?
Since the wireless network uses your email login and password to permit you to connect, chances are that your email password has been reset or expired. The first thing you need to do is check your email and see if you can access it. If not, you will need to reset your email password. Windows XP users may need to update their password. This is not something that can be done locally at your phone. Please call the Help Desk at 978/934-4357 or toll-free at 866-HELP-HERE (435-7437) for assistance.
What type of information will I need when I call the Help Desk for assistance?
We ask that you please provide your name, department name, location and phone extension. If it's a problem with PeopleSoft, please provide the panel name, process name, and query.sqr name. Provide as clear a description of the problem as possible and relay to us any error messages that may appear on your screen.
