
To import Contacts from a .PST file to the UML Exchange Server for access in Outlook 2000-2003 and Outlook Web Access (OWA), Click here.
- Go to the Menu...Click on the File…Import and Export…
- Select Export to a file. Click Next.
- Select Personal Folder file (.pst). Click Next.
- Select Contacts. Check Include Subfolders. Click Next.
- Click Browse... to Desktop.
- Change filename to Contacts.pst
- Check Allow duplicates to be created . Click Finish.
- When the Create Microsoft Personal Folders dialog box appears, Click OK (Depending on the size of your contacts folders, it can take from a few seconds to fifteen (15) minutes or longer for the contacts.pst file to be created on your desktop. Wait for the process to finish.)
To import Contacts from a .PST file to the UML Exchange Server for simultaneous access in Outlook 2000-2003 and Outlook Web Access (OWA).
- Go to the Menu...Click on the File…Import and Export.
- Select Import from another program or file. Click Next.
- Scroll down and Select Personal Folder File (.pst), Click NEXT .
- Click Browse… Browse to your desktop.
- Select the Contacts.pst file you exported earlier. Click Open.
- Check Allow duplicates to be created. Click Next.
- Import from Personal Folders.
- Check Include subfolders.
- Import items into the same folder in: Mailbox - Lastname, Firstname).
- Click Finish.
- Open your browser and logon to OWA (Outlook Web Access).
- Check to see if your contacts are visible.
