Telephone Directory

Faculty and staff may look up telephone extensions by opening (and printing, if desired) an alphabetical listing or by searching the online directory.

Voicemail Upgrade!! NEW

With the recent upgrade to the voicemail system, you may find your mailbox greeting has changed. We recommend you dial your telephone number and let it go to voicemail to check your greeting. If you wish to change the greeting to something new, please follow these steps: Updating your Greeting.pdf

Once your record a new greeting, you will have to activate it.

Setting Up Your New Voicemail Account

  1. Dial *5 from your phone.
  2. Enter the default password of 1111 and a tutorial will automatically begin. You must complete the short tutorial to gain access to your mailbox.
  3. Follow the tutorial's directions to create a new password between 4-15 digits in length.
  4. Record the three greetings as prompted by the tutorial.
    1. Personal Greeting - plays when you do not answer the phone.
    2. Busy Greeting - plays when you are on another call.
    3. Gone Home Greeting - plays when you have logged out.
  5. Record your name to be used for message playback notification.

Calling On and Off Campus

On Campus:  Dial the four digit extension.
Local Call:  Dial 8 + the ten digit number.

The following are local calls:  Andover, Billerica, Chelmsford, Concord, Dracut,  Lawrence, Methuen, North Andover, North Chelmsford, Tewksbury, Tyngsboro, Westford, Wilmington, Pelham, NH exchanges 635 and 751 (must dial 8 + 603 + 7 digits).

Listening To and Managing Messages

On Campus:  Press the VOICEMAIL button on your phone or dial 5000 from any on-campus telephone.  Follow the prompts.

Off Campus:  Call 978/934-5000 and follow the prompts.

Refer to the Voicemail Quick Reference for an overview of the voicemail menus, including instructions on forwarding and deleting messages.

  • install a new phone;
  • move an existing line to another location;
  • report a problem with a phone;
  • update the directory information.
