ISIS (Intercampus Student Information System)
UMass Lowell implemented to manage our student records, accounts receivable and financial aid business processes. ISIS provides web self-service for both student and faculty and a full-service application for those Students can use self-service to manage their schedules, view their final grades, manage financial aid and view their holds. Faculty also have access to ISIS through self-service to manage their course enrollment, enter final grades and access advising reports.

UMass Lowell, along with the rest of the UMass System, implemented the HR and Financials systems in 2002. The HR system manages employee benefit programs, tracks time and labor and maintains personnel information. The Financials system is comprised of the following modules to manage the University’s fiscal operations:

Web Content Management
Colleges and departments maintain their websites using a web-based content management system. If you will be responsible for maintaining a website, use the links below.
WebCT
Faculty are encouraged to supplement their face-to-face classroom teaching with online access to their syllabi, assignments, quizzes/tests, discussion boards with WebCT. WebCT enables faculty to offer a blended approach to teaching and learning, improves communication between instructor and student, and provides anytime-access to course materials. Virtual Private Network (VPN)
A VPN account is used through your Internet provider (Comcast, Verizon, etc) to make your home computer appear to be on the UML Network. This will allow you to access secure sites and/or systems that have restricted access to computers on the UML network. A VPN account is required for faculty and staff who need remote access to secure areas on the our network, such as network drives or our enterprise applications.
