Printer FriendlyListed below are the minimum desktop OS/Web Brower and hardware configurations that the Financial 8.9 upgrade project will support for both e*mpac Financials Version 8.9 and online tutorials.
Web Browser and Client Operating System Certifications
Please note that the "Recommended Minimum for Performance" is the standard below which performance cannot be guaranteed. The minimums will be supported and will function, but they will not necessarily perform at speeds that meet end users satisfaction. Also, any stable (non-beta) software or hardware platforms that exceed the recommended specifications will be supported.
Windows Minimum Configuration
Hardware: 233 MHz, 128 MB RAM
OS: Windows 98
Browsers: Netscape 4.7x; IE 5 (NOTE: IE 7 is not yet a supported browser)
Recommended Minimum for Performance
Hardware: Pentium 800 MHz, 256 MB RAM
OS: Windows 2000
Browser: Netscape 7.1; IE 6
Mac Minimum Configuration
Hardware: 233 MHz, 128 MB RAM
OS: OS 8.6
Browser: Netscape 4.7x; IE 5
Recommended Minimum for Performance
Hardware:500 MHz 256 MB
OS: OS X
Browser: Netscape 7.1 (IE not recommended here)

Online tutorials are web-based training classes in support of Fin 8.9 upgrade project. Requirements Macromedia Flash Player 6.0 or later Downloads The current Macromedia Flash Player version is available for download at the Adobe site. http://www.adobe.com/downloads/
