HR Direct Application Upgrade and Milestones

Upgrade to HCM 9.0 - HR Direct

The UMass System completed an application upgrade of Oracle's Human Capital Management (HCM) to version 9.0 in spring 2009.  HR Direct is the UMass branding for the system utilized by all UMass campuses. 

9.0 Milestones & Projects

Efforts continue to add new functionality and services to the HR Direct application.  Some of these changes include:

• Provide student employees access to report time via self-service
• Improve integration of data between HR Direct and iSiS
• Streamline employee onboarding process
• Develop new self-service manager functionality through use of an integrated forms package
• Expand utilization of delivered human resource modules for training administration
• Begin using Summit reporting tool to support campus departmental reporting needs
