ISIS FAQs

What is ISIS?

The Intercampus Student Information System (ISIS) replaced our legacy student information system on March 28, 2005.

How does this impact me?

The most important change for students is the availability of the web-based Self-Service application. Students will be able to perform common transactions through the web which minimize the number of visits to business offices on campus.

What happens to our current Student Information System (SIS) and its related applications, VRS and eStudent?

The current SIS application will be available to the appropriate staff as view only. Both the VRS and eStudent systems will be unavailable once the ISIS application goes live.

Are there computers on campus I can use to access Self-Service?

Yes. There are many labs on campus open to all students. We suggest visiting the Centers for Learning:
  • UML North - Southwick 3rd Floor
  • UML East - Fox 606
  • UML South - O'Leary 300

What else can I do through Self-Service?

  • Faculty will now distribute "permission numbers" to students that will override a class limit allowing a student to enroll in a class that is full.
  • Through Self-Service, students can run a "what-if" scenario to evaluate how a change in major would affect their degree progress. Student can run "course what-if" to see where a course would fall into their degree progress
  • View/Search the Course Catalog
  • View/Search the Schedule of Classes
