The University of Massachusetts Lowell, Department of Biological Sciences is accepting applications to teach the General Microbiology laboratory course for fall semester. Duties include coordinating all lab sections, lecturing during a weekly recitation, responsibility for two laboratory sections, supervision of teaching and undergraduate assistants, creating and grading quizzes, and grading laboratory notebooks. The position is part time and non-benefited.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: • BS or MS in biology or microbiology required. • College teaching experience preferred, especially microbiology. • Demonstrated strong organizational and communication skills. • Demonstrated ability interacting with diverse populations.
