General Summary (Purpose) of Position
The University of Massachusetts Lowell, Department of Nursing, is seeking a Director of the PhD Program in Nursing, with a health promotion focus, for the Fall 2008.  The full-time tenure-track candidate sought would be at the Full Professor rank. 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Earned doctorate in Nursing or related field
• Evidence of a successful record of teaching in a doctoral program
• Demonstrated record of an externally funded, active program of research, preferably NIH funded.
• Distinguished record of scholarly achievements
• Demonstrated ability working with diverse student and faculty population
