University of Massachusetts Lowell Honors Program

Undergraduate Professional Development Grants

Description

The University of Massachusetts Lowell Honors Program has received funding from the Massachusetts Board of Higher Education to support undergraduate student participation in professional activities, such as travel to professional society conferences. The Honors Program will award approximately ten grants of up to $500 to UML undergraduate students for professional development activities. Students need not be enrolled in the Honors Program to apply, but preference will be given to Honors Program students. Preference will also be given to students seeking funding for an activity related to a research project. The Board of Higher Education has stipulated that funds must be expended by June 30. We cannot give advances for travel expenses; we can only make reimbursements. We need original receipts for travel reimbursements. Please call Veronica Gadbois at 978-934-2921 if you have any questions.
