Have you tried out the new ISIS system yet?

The new Integrated Student Information System is the new way to access all your information on-line. View grades, request an official transcript, print an unofficial transcript, access financial aid information, REGISTER FOR CLASSES…and much, much more. If you haven’t logged in yet, you should do it before registration opens on April 11th. Go to ISIS.uml.edu and click on "Get your self-service user ID". After you follow the directions, you will need to go to "Student Self Service Logon". Your default password is the 1st 2 letters of your last name, the first letter being capital, followed by your date of birth, MMDDYYYY, so John Smith, born 01-01-1975 would have a password as Sm01011975. At this point, you will be asked to change your password. You need to pay close attention to the directions on the left in regard to what the rules are for your new password. If you need help, feel free to stop by Southwick 310, O’Leary 3rd floor, or the Honors Office.

Reminders

*Keep track of your Honors hours, so that when you register for classes you choose courses that will benefit you as you complete the Honors Program requirements.

*In order to remain in good academic standing with the Honors Program, students must maintain an overall cumulative grade point average of 3.25 or higher. The Honors Program staff reviews student records each June. Students whose GPA's fall below 3.0 are withdrawn from the program, as are students whose GPAs fall between 3.0 and 3.25 for two consecutive semesters. Students wishing to reapply to the program may do so when the minimum GPA is reached. Remember that you can still take honors courses even if you are not enrolled in the Honors Program.

*If you have a change in email address, please call the Honors Office with your updated information. We would like to save paper by keeping the monthly newsletters and other important information online.

Please call (978) 934-2797 or email us at Honors@uml.edu. Thanks for your help!

*Please remember that there are 5 ways to earn Honors Credit in a course; however, you must attain a grade of “B” or better in that course in order for it to count as honors credit.
5 Ways to Earn Honors Credits:
1) Honors by contract
2) Honors course
3) Dedicated Honors section of a regular course
4) Concurrent Honors section of a regular course
5) Graduate courses
