I have been an RN since 1994 and was previously employed at a community hospital on a medical-surgical floor at first and then the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit for 9 years. I graduated with my MS in 2005 and was board certified as a Family nurse practitioner. I practiced for 7 years in a rheumatology and internal medicine practice and continue to practice at this location on a part-time basis. After receiving my DNP in May 2011, I became adjunct faculty at UMass Lowell and have joined the nursing faculty full time as of January 2012.
