Nursing Students Without Borders
The student organization Nursing Students Without Borders (NSWB) gives nursing students a real-world experience delivering healthcare education and resources globally.
Asst. Prof. Valerie King and seven undergraduate nursing students are currently on a two-week trip to Chile to work with psychiatric nurses at hospitals in Talca and Santiago.

Past Mission Trips

For three consecutive years, senior NSWB senior nursing student delivered care, supplies, and compassion to the people of Ghana, West Africa. The students raised money for their trips and much-needed medical supplies – everything from first aid equipment and medication to iron-enriched baby formula and hygiene products.
