(The primary focus of the proposed book is to engage 5-9 pre-service and in-service teachers in a process of mathematical reasoning that will enhance and expand their conceptual knowledge and understanding, introduce them to the process of content and task analysis when presenting mathematical concepts, and to model the kind of mathematical learning experience that they will be expected to provide for their students).
