The Graduate School of Education (GSE) is fortunate to be served by two advisory boards. Both boards meet with the dean, directors and faculty representatives at least twice a year.
The board is comprised of business, education and community leaders who are alumni or have long associations with the Graduate School of Education. The role of the board is to provide advice and support with respect to programming, facilities planning and fund raising.
The board was established to provide guidance to the college with respect to the Initial Teacher Licensure programs. Members of the board are local teachers and administrators and retired teachers who act as clinical supervisors. All members of the board have worked with the Graduate School of Education’s student teachers or interns in some capacity during the past ten years.
