GSE NEWS

WELCOME
We are proud of our reputation for educating future teachers and educational leaders who are creative, inquiry oriented, responsive to the needs of all learners, and knowledgeable in their field. Members of our faculty are committed to excellence in their own teaching and research, much of which is based around the work they do in schools with children and teachers.
Some of the externally funded projects in which we are engaged include:
- Teaching American History – US Department of Education
- Landmarks of American History and Culture – National Endowment for the Humanities
- Enhancing Mathematics Collaboration (EMC3) - Massachusetts Department of Higher Education
- STEM Pipeline – Massachusetts Department of Higher Education
- iCode: Internet Community of Design Engineers – National Science Foundation
Our Programs
We offer master's degrees leading to elementary and secondary teacher licensure, as well as online master's programs for experienced practitioners in Curriculum and Instruction, Educational Administration, and Reading and Language. At the doctoral level, we have three research focused Ed.D. programs in Leadership in Schooling, Mathematics and Science Education, and Language Arts and Literacy.
The Graduate School of Education is accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE).
