Choosing Graduate Courses
UMass Lowell graduate courses are held on campus, off campus and online. All Graduate Course descriptions are available in the Graduate Catalog.
Graduate courses currently being offered are listed by semester at the Registrar’s course schedule site.

Hold Flags (Service Indicators)
Service Indicators are used to help process a student's administrative records to facilitate registration. If you have a hold on your account this will prevent you from registering. Below are some of the common holds for a graduate student.
Graduate School Hold, contact the Registrar's Office (978) 934-2550.
Immunization Hold, contact Student Health Services (978) 934-4991.
International Student Hold, contact the International Students and Scholars Office (978) 934-2383.
Registering for Graduate Courses
Returning Matriculating Students
If you are a returning student, please register for courses through the ISIS self-service system. ISIS provides information for first-time users.All Accepted Students
If you are a new student registering for courses, it is strongly recommended that students choose classes with the assistance of an advisor during walk-in registration nights (see below).

Information/Registration Nights
All newly-accepted students are encouraged to discuss course selection with their program coordinator prior to registering. The Office of Graduate Admissions hosts an Information Night/Walk-in Registration just prior to the start of the semester.
Next Information Night/Walk in Registration: Wednesday August 13, 2008 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Dugan Hall. Detailed information is available on the registration page.
Students who are unable to attend an information night may fax their registration form (Note: non-degree form is used for both degree and non-degree students) to the Registrar’s Office (978) 934-4076. Faxed registration forms will be processed as quickly as possible.
