The certificate is open to students who have an interest in learning more about the fundamentals and engineering applications of radiowave and microwave devices and systems. Wireless technologies are of increasing importance in a variety of personal communications and control applications. The integrated set of courses offers graduate level skills and knowledge which will provide a background for those wishing to participate in this rapidly expanding field. The certificate is open to students with a bachelors degree in electrical engineering or in related disciplines such as physics or electronics engineering technology with an appropriate background in electromagnetics.
