Ergonomic hazards are present in all industry sectors including: manufacturing, construction, shipping and service industries. The certificate program is designed for the health and/or safety professional (e.g. safety manager, safety engineer, industrial engineer, industrial hygienist, occupational health nurse, occupational physician, physical therapist) already working in industry. Although it is not required, it is anticipated that most of the students in this program will be working full-time in one of these positions. The certificate will give an individual the ability to recognize and control ergonomic hazards in the work-place

*Best if student considers matriculating to MS program.
